This poem is about the stock market correction which took place in March 2007
A busy week with a downward trend
Is there an upswing around the bend?
I think - yes there is, and for this I have good reason
Companies are about to start a positive earnings season
Was it Chinese whispers that started the correction?
Words from Greenspan or media intervention?
As some traders on Wall Street reached for a hanky
There were some soothing words from Ben Bernanke
And after those words came a welcome rise
As traders bought back thinking it was wise
But the very next day those gains were erased
And those Wall Street traders left once again dazed
But sell as they might the ferocious bears
Who play so heavily on traders fears
Will soon succumb to investors pull
As they once again ride the all mighty bull
